So we've been staying with Brad now near Pranburi for about a week. Easy place to settle into, mostly quiet beaches, great spots to eat (of course)...and hard to beat the opportunities that come with having close friends living in prime spots and engaged in impressive pursuits. To call what these guys are doing in this part of Thailand with their boat-tow paragliding operation pioneering would not be exaggerating.

But we will press on, taking an hour-long ride via rail south to a neighbouring fishing town called Prachuap Khiri Khan on Monday as Brad's housemate returns and if we wanted to stay longer, we'd be finding our own digs. But Prachuap was a town that caught my eye when researching places to go and another that supposedly sees few tourists. Let's hope so.
